Currently, Vernost has over five thousand homeless animals in its care. Their number is always different: some find their home, some go to the rainbow. And every day we get "newbies" - cats and dogs who have found themselves without owners. The street is very dangerous for animals, especially for former domestic and recently born kittens and puppies.
Of course, there are other examples. For example, our ward Dzhekunya. He lived on the territory of the enterprise for a long time together with other dogs, served proudly and responsibly, but when the management changed, the employees had to find homes for the dogs. No one wanted to take a purebred, but blind dog. Since then, Dzhek has been living in our shelter. He was examined and treated twice, and is now completely healthy!
Moreover, Jack has repeatedly come to the aid of dying dogs as a donor! He shares his blood so that others can live. Among those he saved were dogs that needed an urgent blood transfusion.
Providing emergency assistance is the key to the life and health of street animals. And now we are collecting funds to pay for veterinary services for homeless cats and dogs, so that volunteers do not have to look for money for treatment, wasting precious time.
