Right after birth, Danil couldn't breathe on his own and was rushed to intensive care. He spent the first three months in the hospital. Doctors diagnosed him with a brain hemorrhage and hypoxia − oxygen deprivation. By seven months, he was officially recognized as having a disability. From that moment on, the family began regular rehabilitation sessions. Thanks to these efforts, Danil learned to roll over, crawl on his stomach, stand up, and even say several words.
However, Danil still has serious problems with legs — he cannot walk without specialized orthotic braces. This September, his current braces will expire, just as he is about to start school.
Despite having cerebral palsy, Danil has preserved cognitive abilities — he learns well, understands all the subjects, and absolutely loves spending time with his family.
Let’s come together and help Danil get his new braces!
