In September, Mark will turn 7 years old. Two months before his birth, he underwent an intrauterine surgery due to spina bifida, as well as several surgeries on his feet. He and his mother live in a rented apartment near Moscow — the family moved here from Ulyanovsk for better treatment.
Currently, the boy has a central nervous system malformation and issues with pelvic organs. Mark works with rehabilitators six days a week and trains at home every day. Thanks to this, he is already learning to stand with support and take his first steps in orthoses. Regular sessions help strengthen his muscles and develop coordination, bringing him closer to his dream of walking independently.
Mark is a cheerful and very determined boy. He loves drawing, sculpting, riding a special bicycle, and has recently learned to swim. For now, he mostly moves around on all fours, as that way he can quickly reach paints and toys.
Let's support Mark together and help pay for his physical therapy classes!
