It is important for a child to have a nanny with them during this time, as their care can help them recover more quickly.
Since 2017, the "He Needs You" Foundation has been providing 24-hour nannies to orphans undergoing treatment in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Every month, 20-35 children who have been left without parental care receive these services.
In August, children from the Sverdlovsk, Novosibirsk, Leningrad, Kaliningrad, Ulyanovsk regions, Bryansk, Irkutsk, and Krasnodar Krai worked with nannies from the foundation.… And the children continue to come for treatment.
Of course, babysitters not only help with household matters such as dressing, feeding, and washing, but also engage in the development of children: they read, play, count, and draw. Nannies also monitor the implementation of doctors' recommendations, and often do not sleep at night, caring for children after severe operations.
