Unona was hit by a car. The kitty lay on the side of the road in serious condition for a long time after the accident, until she was noticed by kind people. The baby was seriously injured and needed urgent help. We took Unona and started fighting for her life. She spent a long time in several hospitals. The cat had to undergo dozens of examinations, blood transfusions, the installation of an esophagostomy for nutrition and a central venous catheter, several operations - amputation of the hind leg and tail. Unona was in pain, several times she was on the verge of life and death. There seemed to be no end to it. But we believed that Unona could handle it.
Thanks to timely help and a strong character, the baby survived. Yes, she doesn't have a paw and tail, but that's not a verdict! There are still months of examinations, another operation and long-term treatment ahead. But our doctors are confident that the baby has every chance to recover, and when she gets better, to find a home.
The treatment turned out to be expensive. We managed to pay for only part of it, but unfortunately we don't have enough resources. And now we really need your help. Please support the collection to pay for the intensive care unit for Unona. Let's give her a chance at a happy life.
