Nine-year-old Amina is a talented little artist who creates amazing drawings and her own cartoon characters. Her art is full of light and joy, but behind it lies a fierce battle. Amina has overcome acute leukemia, but now she is fighting DiGeorge syndrome - a rare congenital disorder that leaves her body almost defenseless against infections. This syndrome requires constant supportive therapy. Recent tests have shown a decline in her condition - Amina now needs a new six-month course of expensive medications. Processing subsidized prescriptions could take months, but treatment must begin immediately - every day of delay puts her fragile health at risk. Together, we can give Amina and other patients with similar diagnoses the most precious gift of all - the chance to feel better, to create, and simply to be happy.
