Immediately after birth, Kostya was taken to intensive care and connected to a ventilator (artificial ventilation). At 1 month, the baby underwent a very complicated heart operation in Krasnodar. After that, the child needed to be monitored - hospitals again, IVs, a feeding tube. Only at 3 months, Kostya was brought home for the first time. A long rehabilitation began: massages, hippotherapy, a swimming pool, exercise bike classes. Gradually, the boy's muscles got stronger, he began to pronounce his first words, but every step was difficult.
Now Kostya is 12 years old, he is homeschooled, mastering English, loves cartoons and puzzles. But it is difficult for him: hyperactivity, weak motor skills, urinary incontinence. His speech is still slurred, he can only write in block letters. But the boy tries: he brushes his teeth himself, eats with a spoon, and helps his parents a little.
Kostya is a bright and kind boy who dreams of just playing in the nursery like other children. It is not easy for his parents to take him out for frequent walks to develop his skills. In order for him to be able to strengthen his body muscles and develop motor skills, he needs a treadmill for home workouts. Let's all help Kostya move forward towards his dream - confident independent walking!
