Sisters Zumurat and Patimat are receiving quality care and thank you for your help!

Unfortunately, among the wards of the "Old Age in Joy" foundation, there are many who, due to their health, require constant outside care. To ensure that these residents can remain at home, in the comfort of their own homes, the foundation hires caregivers who come for a few hours a day to assist with hygiene, prepare meals, ensure doctors' appointments are followed, and simply provide them with timely conversation, warmth, and care. The work of caregivers is essential for both the physical and emotional well-being of the elderly and people with disabilities. Thanks to everyone who contributed, the "Old Age in Joy" foundation paid for the work of a caregiver in the village of Gonokh, Republic of Dagestan, for six months, from September 2025 to February 2026. It's thanks to your support that sisters Zumurat and Patimat continue to receive care. A caregiver visits them twice a day for two hours. Zumurat, the older sister, often experiences mood swings, especially in bad weather. She gets nervous, can burst into tears, or, conversely, gets angry without reason. But the caring caregiver has found a way to accommodate her. On such days, she organizes tea for the sisters, or they all do handicrafts together. Sometimes, they even dress up, take out bracelets, beads, and tie beautiful scarves. All of this brings great joy to Zumurat and Patimat. Patimat's younger sister is more mobile and enjoys helping out in any way she can, such as serving vegetables from the table or arranging sliced bread on a plate. Furthermore, thanks to the caregiver's help, Zumurat and Patimat's mother, who spent many years caring for her two daughters alone, now has some free time. Now she has the opportunity to focus on her own health. She finally started the treatment she'd been putting off for so long. She now has time to rest, even if it's only for a couple of hours, but it's incredibly important to her. She's incredibly grateful to now have such reliable support and assistance.
