Thanks to you, Zhenya underwent important genetic testing. The family is eagerly awaiting the results. Everyone hopes it will help confirm or rule out the suspicion of Charcot-Marie-Tooth syndrome. This is a hereditary disorder that affects the nerves in the arms and legs and, as we know, is steadily progressing. Zhenya continues to undergo rehabilitation, but the improvement is short-lived. The pain, numbness, and burning sensation in his legs are unfortunately returning.

We sincerely hope that after receiving the results, the doctors will be able to determine a precise treatment plan for Zhenya. We understand that polyneuropathy is incurable, but with a correct diagnosis and appropriate treatment, we can significantly improve his condition and slow the progression of the disease.

Zhenya needs to undergo an important examination so that doctors can choose the right treatment.

Zhenya is a cheerful girl who loves to dance, sing and play musical instruments. She was a healthy child, like all children she went to kindergarten, communicated with her peers, played sports and had fun on playgrounds. But everything changed when she finished the second grade.

The parents noticed that Zhenya's gait had changed, it became difficult for her to jump and run. After visiting a pediatrician in Nytvа, the family was sent to Perm to see a neurologist. After examination, Zhenya was diagnosed with polyneuropathy of the lower extremities. This is a lesion of the peripheral nerves, in which their structure and function are affected. Zhenya takes maintenance medications to relieve pain in her legs. In addition to pain, she is bothered by numbness, burning and other unpleasant sensations that affect her life and activity. The doctor sent the girl for a genetic examination to prescribe a more accurate treatment.

Zhenya is the only child in the family. She dreams of learning to ride a bike, but her illness makes it difficult for her. The family is doing everything they can to help Zhenya, but they need additional support. Tubers, help pay for an expensive genetic analysis!
