Rezvan is 4 years old and has a speech development delay. By the age of one, the boy did not respond to his name, did not understand spoken language, and walked on his tiptoes.
During the rehabilitation course, the child attended sessions with ABA therapy specialists, sensory integration therapists, and a speech therapist-defectologist. By the end of the course, both the specialists and Rezvan's mother noted significant progress in the boy's development, as well as improvements in his communication and speech skills.
The educators paid great attention to developing Rezvan's fine motor skills through play. The boy learned to lace, string figures onto a cord, tie knots, and remove and reattach clothespins to the cord. All of this contributed to a more active development of his cognitive abilities.
Thanks to the sensory integration sessions, it became easier for Rezvan to orient himself in space, and he is now able to maintain his balance for longer periods. The child even learned to perform exercises while swinging on a swing or standing on a balance board at the same time!
