Bogdan has successfully completed an intensive rehabilitation course!

Bogdan turned 6 not so long ago. By the age of 2, the boy did not make eye contact or respond to his name. After numerous examinations, he was diagnosed with delayed psycho-speech development of the sensorimotor alalia type.

As part of his rehabilitation course, Bogdan combined daily sessions with specialized professionals—specifically, ABA therapy, sensory integration, adaptive physical education, sessions with a speech therapist-defectologist, and a course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The combination of these sessions and hardware procedures helped the child stabilize his psycho-emotional state and develop new skills!

During ABA therapy sessions, Bogdan continued working on learning new requests and prompts. He was introduced to a new level of alternative communication using special PECS cards. The child also learned tacting, which helped him improve his understanding of spoken language and expand his passive vocabulary.

Thanks to sensory integration and adaptive physical education sessions, Bogdan’s sensory perception—visual, auditory, and tactile—improved. It became much easier for him to perform fine motor exercises, and he also learned to stand on a balance board for an extended period and to go through a special tunnel.
