The fundraising campaign for Irina Savina and Elvira Nugaeva has been successfully completed. Thanks to the support of our donors, we were able to purchase a special mattress and cushion to make their daily lives safer and more comfortable. For Irina, we purchased an anti-decubitus mattress. Following a severe spinal injury, she spends a lot of time in bed, so the mattress helps reduce pressure on the body and lower the risk of pressure sores. For Elvira, we purchased a pressure-relief cushion. She uses a wheelchair and spends much of the day sitting, so the cushion helps distribute pressure more evenly and protect her skin from damage. Thank you to everyone who supported this campaign. Irina and Elvira now have the equipment they need to feel more comfortable every day and reduce the risk of additional health complications.

Irina and Elvira with severe injuries need help paying for a specialized mattress and pillow

Many adults with severe injuries and illnesses need not only medications and rehabilitation, but also special care products. Anti-decubitus mattresses and pillows help to avoid complications and maintain strength for recovery.

Irina Savina fell from the seventh floor and suffered serious spinal and head injuries. Doctors fastened the vertebrae with plates, and despite the serious diagnosis, she was able to stand up on her feet and walks with the support of a walker. But her movements remain difficult, Irina spends a lot of time in bed, and she needs a mattress to prevent bedsores.

Elvira Nugaeva is a professional swimmer. At the age of 15, after a spinal stroke, she ended up in a wheelchair. The girl continues to train, but spends most of her time sitting, and to avoid skin complications, she needs a medical pillow. Please help pay for a mattress for Irina and a pillow for Elvira. This will support their health and give them the opportunity to continue the path to recovery.
