A prenatal diagnosis seminar was successfully held in Ingushetia!

Every year in Russia, children are born with spina bifida and other central nervous system defects. Many cases can be detected during pregnancy—but only if doctors are proficient in modern diagnostic methods. We are organizing a professional seminar with leading experts. The sessions will be conducted by: - Liliana Anatolyevna Chugunova, MD, Senior Researcher at the National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology named after V.I. Kulakov, ultrasound diagnostics specialist, who presented research on Spina Bifida at the global ISUOG congress. - Kirill Vitalyevich Kostyukov, MD, ultrasound diagnostics specialist with 16 years of experience, expert in fetal surgery and advanced prenatal diagnostics. - Margarita Mikhailovna Nikushina, clinical and perinatal psychologist, head of the pregnancy support program at the Spina Bifida Foundation, specialist in family support from diagnosis onward. Medical professionals specializing in this field will learn to detect developmental defects early, assess the feasibility of fetal surgeries, provide proper family support, and prevent abandonment of children with disabilities.
