Fundraising for safe housing for mothers in crisis situations

Masha (not her real name) came to our Home for Mothers and Children after experiencing domestic violence at the hands of her husband. She was able to leave with only her eldest daughter; her two younger children remained with their stepfather, who refused to give them up. Working with law enforcement, we secured a family reunification. Masha and her three children now live in our safe space—the Home for Mothers and Children. We have dozens and hundreds of similar stories, but our resources are limited. To help women recover and start a new life, we need: - To pay rent for safe housing where families can stay, regain strength, and not fear. - Pay salaries to supervisors who support mothers around the clock - they help with paperwork and interactions with authorities, accompany them to psychologists, help them enroll their children in kindergarten and school, and help them find work and regain financial independence. While Masha recovers, we provide food and essential supplies for the family, arrange psychological assistance, and escort the children to daycare and school - and all this is only possible thanks to your support.
