Gadzimagomed is only 1 year and 9 months old. Last fall, the little boy suffered from severe whooping cough. The illness resulted in severe complications: Gadzimagomed developed organic pathology of the central nervous system, severe psychomotor developmental delay, and spastic tetraparesis. He now has severe movement impairments; he cannot hold his body up independently, and has problems with speech and chewing solid food. The boy tires easily and is whiny, but he senses and responds to his loved ones and reaches out to his mother. Gadzimagomed requires regular rehabilitation courses: exercise therapy, massage, physical therapy, and work with a speech therapist and special education teacher. Doctors note that with consistent work, improvements can be achieved: strengthening muscles, developing self-care skills, and teaching the child to eat and move better. However, the family cannot afford such expensive courses on their own.
