3-year-old Maxim underwent an important control for him: he received a night electroencephalography and consulted an epileptologist. Now the family calmly continues to bring the boy to developmental and rehabilitation classes and expects the next follow-up examination in six months.

Maxim has several diagnoses. He needs research to monitor his epileptic activity

His mother found out that something was wrong with Maxim during her pregnancy. Almost from birth, the boy struggles with the consequences of a genetic disorder: microcephaly, cerebral palsy, and brain malformation. Mom gives her all to continuous rehabilitation, correctional and developmental activities.

But Maxim also needs to be regularly monitored by an epileptologist and undergo an important study – a 9-hour night electroencephalography. Such a study will allow you to see the signs of epilepsy in time and prescribe special medications in advance so that epileptic episodes do not reset all the progress Maxim has made in development.
