Alikhasan is 4 years old and has a delay in his psychomotor development. At the age of 18 months, Alikhasan did not respond to his name, did not make eye contact, and did not understand spoken language.
He often laughs for no reason and exhibits stereotypical movements. Although he does not speak, his world is filled with vivid emotions and favorite activities. Alikhasan enjoys playing with cars, swimming, and spending time outdoors. However, there are also things that he dislikes: Cutting his nails and washing his hair make him uncomfortable.
Despite the difficulties, Alikhasan already has some self-care skills, such as using a potty and eating on his own. However, he is still unable to dress himself. His parents have faith in his future and hope that he will be able to develop his language comprehension further, so that he can say at least a few words and reduce his stereotypical behavior.
In order for Alikhasan to learn new skills, he needs to undergo an intensive rehabilitation program with specialized professionals.
