Five-year-old Akhmad has autism. Doctors believe his prognosis for the future is good – thanks to daily sessions with a speech therapist, a special education specialist, and a neuropsychologist, Akhmad is speaking a little and learning to communicate, developing and socializing. His progress is positive.
However, there are issues the family cannot overcome, and they greatly complicate the child's life. For example, due to his diagnosis, Akhmad is unable to sit in the dentist's chair and follow the dentist's instructions during dental treatment. Consequently, he already has several cavities and pulpitis. Painkillers are contraindicated for him, and due to bouts of toothache, the boy increasingly misses appointments with specialists and sleeps and eats poorly. The treatment requires anesthesia – strong enough and as gentle as possible, so as not to delay Akhmad's development.
Unfortunately, this treatment is not free, and Akhmad's family needs support to cover the costs. Let's help the boy get rid of the pain and continue on his path to new achievements.
