Friends, thank you! The "Old Age for Joy" foundation has used the raised funds to pay for technical rehabilitation aids: robotic gloves for finger rehabilitation, elbow crutches, canes, walkers, and pressure-relieving mattresses for elderly people and people with disabilities from Ilovatsky Psychoneurological Residential Institution and the "Good Deed" Social Service Non-Profit Organization in the Volgograd Region. Such technical aids are essential for the physical rehabilitation of elderly people and people with disabilities. They help restore mobility and independence, while also reducing the risk of injury. Thanks to your support, our beneficiaries are once again able to leave their rooms, relearn how to hold utensils or take care of themselves, and finally find relief from the pain caused by bedsores.
Olga Filippovna lives in Ilovatsky Psychoneurological Residential Institution. She has a contracture in her left arm, but she is a very creative person. She loves to draw, color, and sculpt with clay, but she had to do all of this with one hand, and it was very difficult. Thanks to your help, we provided a rehabilitative robotic glove. The glove helps her flex and extend her hand, train fine motor skills, and restore wrist mobility.
"This is not just movement of the fingers, this is a step toward Olga Filippovna's long-held dream, a step toward creating in a new way," says a staff member of the institution.
We extend words of gratitude from our seniors to everyone who remained compassionate toward the challenges faced by elderly people and people with disabilities, for your support, kindness, and responsiveness.
Thank you for being with us!
