Imran has completed an intensive rehabilitation course and learned new skills!

Imran recently turned 12 years old. By the age of 2, the boy had no speech or pointing gesture. After an examination, specialists diagnosed him with delayed psycho-speech development with autistic behavior, as well as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

During an intensive course of sessions, Imran actively worked on improving his communication skills. Now it is easier for him to interact with others and to express his needs and desires. The child also learned to perform motor actions of varying complexity, and to match identical and non-identical cards and objects.

Specialists also focused on developing Imran's sensorimotor skills. With the help of special exercises and equipment—such as grains, clothespins, and toys of different shapes and sizes—he worked on improving both gross and fine motor skills. With an adaptive sports coach, Imran mastered the treadmill, learned to pedal on his own, and even learned to roller skate!

As part of this course, the boy also attended sessions of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The use of hardware procedures during the intensive rehabilitation course undoubtedly gave a boost to the improvement of Imran's cognitive, speech, and mental functions.
