Zaza is 5 years old. At the age of 1 year and 6 months, the parents began to notice that their daughter was lagging behind in development. At the age of 2, they went to a neurologist, and she was diagnosed with delayed speech development (ASD) with an autistic spectrum disorder. They started treatment, which lasted a year and a half, but, unfortunately, did not give significant results.
Despite the difficulties, the parents do not give up and do everything possible for their daughter. Currently, they have turned to a visiting psychiatrist and started a new treatment, which is already bringing tremendous changes — this is only the second course of therapy. Regular classes and rehabilitation are necessary for Zaza to avoid developmental setbacks. At the moment, the girl does not speak a word and does not know how to imitate animal sounds; her development corresponds to the level of a 1-year-old child.
Unfortunately, the financial situation of the family does not allow parents to undergo regular rehabilitation and treatment courses.
