Samir is the youngest child in his family. He grew up an active and curious boy — crawling, taking his first steps, and playing with his brother and sister. But soon after his first birthday, he became ill, and the illness took away his ability to move and speak.
Samir has cerebral palsy and he is re-learning what he could do before. He is calm, patient, and tries his best at every session. He loves being hugged, listens to music before bedtime, and falls asleep to gentle melodies. He watches cartoons with his brother — who makes sure they don’t repeat — and enjoys walks with his sister, who shows him everything around. Now that Samir can sit, he loves looking around and discovering new places.
For his family, it’s a great joy to see him grow and make progress. His brother and sister can’t wait for the day he can play and laugh with them again. Let’s help make that day come sooner — let’s give Samir an active wheelchair that will help him move, play, and be independent!
