For Sasha's mother, this ordeal turned out to be unbearable - she decided to abandon the child in the hospital. Dmitry faced a dilemma: to save his family or not to abandon his newborn son. He was torn between duty and paternal instinct, which screamed: "I can't leave him!"

Unbeknownst to everyone, Dmitry ran to the hospital: he gave Sasha medicines, diapers, and talked to doctors. Even when the refusal was formally formalized, and Sasha got into the baby's House, Dmitry did not accept it.

Their first meeting was crucial. Sasha was lying there, bandaged up like a mummy. But his eyes... The look was adult, understanding, full of a silent question. This look became the point of no return for Dmitry. Dmitry withdrew the refusal, acknowledged paternity and, in order to fully devote himself to his son, made the hardest decision for himself to divorce.

Dmitry learned how to care for a "butterfly" child, from the most difficult bandages to the nuances of nutrition. Thanks to his perseverance and care, Sasha doesn't just live, he wins. His successes are a direct reflection of his father's strength of spirit and boundless love. The boy swims and wins prizes at competitions, sings in the choir and plays the piano.

Dmitry was not looking for easy ways. He just took responsibility and proved that parental love alone can be stronger than any circumstances.
