Thanks to your support, the Devoted Heart Shelter was able to purchase 97 packages of antibiotics, vital medications that help our wards fight infections.
One of the people you helped was Gagarin the kitten. He had herpesvirus conjunctivitis— a painful inflammation of the eyes accompanied by pain and discharge. Thanks to the timely treatment, Gagarin is on the mend and feels well again.
He's not the only one who needs antibiotics. Dozens of animals with rhinitis, cystitis, bronchitis and other diseases that cannot be cured without medication are admitted to the shelter every month. The stock of antibiotics allows our veterinarians to start therapy immediately, without wasting valuable time.
