Stepan has completed an essential rehabilitation course at the "Rodnik" Center. This stage was crucial for him: in October 2025, Stepan underwent complex surgery on his hip and knee joints. After spending two months in a cast, professional rehabilitation was vital for him to relearn how to control his body.
Thanks to the adapted physical education (APE) sessions made possible by your support, Stepan achieved impressive results. His muscle tension has decreased, the crossing of his legs has been corrected, and muscle tone in all his limbs has diminished. His range of motion has increased, and his coordination has notably improved.
Most importantly, Stepan is now standing much more confidently at a support and holding his balance better. During the sessions, specialists worked on the "stepping effect," bringing Stepan closer to his ultimate dream of walking independently. Thank you to everyone who helped the boy stay strong after his surgery and continue his journey toward health!
