Thanks to the funds collected in the application, we were able to make an examination of Monty's dog from the shelter. No pathologies were detected during it. The ophthalmologist conducted a series of tests, after which he was diagnosed with muscle dystrophy. Monty underwent physical therapy, and his eye fully recovered. The dog returned to the shelter, waiting for new owners.

Monty the stray dog needs to be diagnosed – help pay for research

Monty came to the shelter 6 years ago as a very young dog. His family took him away very quickly. He lived as a pet dog for five years, and then something went wrong and he was no longer needed. He was returned to the orphanage. And six months later, when the volunteers came to him for a walk, they saw that one eye had sunk into the socket.

Monty was immediately taken to the clinic, but the initial examination did not yield results, the cause was never determined. Now he needs to do an Echo of the heart and check his chest and neck for neoplasms that can have such consequences.
