Yulia called the foundation in desperation, as child protection authorities had filed a lawsuit to limit her parental rights over her son and placed Misha in a social rehabilitation center. Upon meeting the family, it became clear that the mother was raising her son alone. The apartment was littered with photographs of Yulia and her son, as well as Misha's drawings and handicrafts. Yulia cares for her son, works, gets tired, and doesn't always cope with life's circumstances.
Specialists from the "Children are Ours" charitable foundation began working with the family. The mother was also motivated to work together and bring her son home as quickly as possible. A social worker is joining the team to help resolve legal and domestic issues and return Misha to his mother, because children should grow up in a loving family!
This collection will allow us to pay for a month's work for a social worker, who simultaneously supports 12 families in crisis. Thanks in large part to the work of the social curator, children in these families can live at home with their relatives, rather than in an orphanage.
