Maxim is a very active and cheerful little man. Despite the fact that the severe diagnosis of spina bifida (spina bifida) deprived him of the ability to walk and live a full life, he never gets discouraged and has a wide range of activities. He likes music, collects cars, draws, and enjoys school and socializing with his peers.
Unfortunately, the life of children with spina bifida is also a constant visits to doctors, surgeries and various medical procedures. Recently Maksims had a complicated neurosurgical operation, which was performed by doctors of the Tyumen Medical Center. During the preoperative examination some serious problems with his kidneys were revealed, Maksims was diagnosed with hydronephrosis and was recommended to consult a neurourologist.
In Rostov region, where Maksim lives, there is no possibility to get qualified help of such specialists. The family turned to us at the Foundation for help. We invited Maksim and his mother to Moscow to undergo a neurouro-urologic examinations in order to decide on further treatment.
Let's help Maksim keep his kidneys healthy!
