16-year-old Seryozha Ryabets has been fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia for almost two years. Now the boy is finally at home after a long hospital stay. The most difficult path, which included chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation, severe pneumonia and the fight against the "transplant against the host" syndrome, is behind. Seryozha has been discharged from the hospital. Now he is under the watchful eye of his mother Svetlana.
The boy's condition is stable, although it is too early to relax. He continues his treatment on an outpatient basis: he periodically takes tests and comes for IVs to stabilize his condition. The most important stage now is rehabilitation and recovery. Sergey is literally learning to live anew: to eat familiar food, breathe deeply, and gain strength for new achievements.
Despite all the challenges he has faced, he remains optimistic and looks to the future with hope. The only thing on his mind is complete recovery. He dreams of one day cooking healthy and delicious meals himself, and he believes that he will succeed.
This victory was made possible by the kindness and compassion of concerned people, including users of the Tooba platform. They helped raise funds for the life-saving drug "Nictimvo" and supported the family during their most difficult time.
Выздоравливай, Серёжа! 💗
