Timur is 8 years old and has cerebral palsy. He was born at 36 weeks of pregnancy with intrauterine pneumonia and consequences of hypoxia. After 12 days in intensive care, he developed like other children, but at 7 months an illness caused complications, and the baby became paralyzed.
From an early age, Timur has been undergoing rehabilitation courses, thanks to which he learned to crawl, stand with support, and walk with crutches. In 2022, the boy underwent brain surgery that helped reduce spasticity and gave him a chance for freer movement, but in 2024 the family was involved in a serious accident — injuries and stress set back his progress. However, Timur was able to regain his skills again. Another surgery on his feet and knees is ahead, after which rehabilitation will be required.
Timur is a cheerful, creative child. He loves cooking and dreams of becoming a chef. Another of his hobbies is sledge hockey; he believes that someday he will be able to skate on real ice.
The family is raising two children, and most of their income goes to medical treatment and mortgage.
Please help Timur to undergo another rehabilitation course and take one more step toward his dream!
