Muhammad was born on October 16th. His father eagerly awaited him at home, along with a cozy crib and bright rattles. But just a few days later, the baby was diagnosed with a severe heart defect. He began turning blue, had difficulty breathing, and refused to eat.
Little Muhammad was urgently transported from Ivanovo, where he was born, to Moscow, to the Bakulev Cardiovascular Surgery Center. He underwent a complex operation to correct the heart defect. Muhammad is currently in intensive care, and his condition is stable.
"We're not allowed to see our little son yet. We only hear about his condition by phone," Muhammad's parents share.
His condition currently prevents him from being transferred to a ward, but each day spent in intensive care is expensive. The young parents, being foreigners, lack the funds to pay for treatment.
We believe the little one will cope, and very soon he will be able to feel the warmth of his mother's arms, and the family will be together again.
