Lerochka was born in the seventh month. A few months later, cysts developed in her brain, and at one and a half years old, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Lera is now six years old. Due to the consequences of prematurity, she is almost blind, and without hearing aids, she is almost deaf, unable to walk, and unable to speak. Thanks to regular classes, Lera demonstrates amazing progress. She groups herself on all fours, tries to crawl like a plast, sits with support and confidently holds her head. The first syllables appeared in her speech: "ma-ma", "pa", "ba-ba". She loves swimming, diving, and loves musical toys and cartoons. Despite her poor eyesight and hearing, the girl is drawn to sounds and bright colors, shifts toys from pen to pen and works out on the vertical for several hours a day. Each new skill is a huge victory and the hope that Lerochka will be able to go one day. But in order for progress not to stop, it is vital to control latent epileptic activity, which can imperceptibly destroy all achievements. To do this, the girl urgently needs to undergo daytime video EEG monitoring and get advice from a neurologist-epileptologist. Lera's mother had to leave her job in order to fully devote herself to her daughter's rehabilitation, and she cannot pay for these examinations on her own. Without them, doctors cannot accurately adjust treatment, which jeopardizes all the years of work and deprives Leroy of a chance for a full-fledged future.
