Danil is 10 years old. After years of bronchitis, pneumonia, and asthma, he began experiencing nocturnal seizures at the age of 8. A genetic analysis revealed an unstudied mutation responsible for the development of epileptic encephalopathy. Danil has now undergone a nocturnal EEG monitoring — a vital examination without which treatment is impossible, as seizures can return at any moment. It is necessary for monitoring the disease and helps doctors determine the optimal therapy.

Daniel needs to have nighttime video EEG monitoring to adjust his treatment

Daniel is 10 years old, and he has been fighting serious illnesses almost all his life. At the age of 2, he was diagnosed with severe asthma. After years of bronchitis, pneumonia, and asthma, at the age of 8, he began having night cramps.

After undergoing an examination at the hospital, Daniel underwent a genetic analysis, which revealed an unexplored breakdown responsible for epileptic encephalopathy.

Moscow doctors, led by Marina Yurievna Dorofeeva, select vital therapy for the boy. To control the disease, nocturnal EEG monitoring should be performed every 3-6 months. Without this, treatment is impossible, and seizures can return at any time.

Daniil's mother cannot work, as she must constantly take care of her son. The family is in a difficult financial situation and cannot pay for regular checkups on their own.
