Sharapudin is 14 years old, already a grown man, his mother's protector and helper. Serious beyond his years, he enjoys building kits, collects various vintage cars, and dreams of one day owning a truly rare model.
In March of last year, Sharapudin began frequently feeling weak and dizzy. At first, he ignored these symptoms, but then it became clear that they were persistent. Tests revealed a suspected blood cancer, myelodysplastic syndrome, and doctors immediately referred the boy to Moscow for a more precise diagnosis and further treatment.
Sharapudin is currently undergoing treatment at Blokhin Hospital, where he has been prescribed a rare genetic test—whole genome sequencing—which will help identify gene mutations and choose a more effective treatment specifically targeting tumor cells.
