Vera Pryannikova found out in June 2021 that she has rapidly progressing thyroid cancer and has metastases. Vera was operated on urgently and stayed in hospital for a month.
On 2 August a second operation will be performed, which will leave a similar scar on the other side of her neck. With the most favourable prognosis, the woman will again spend a month in hospital and should leave for Moscow for further treatment in October.
All this time, Vera's two children are without their parents, because the children's father died in 2014. The children were placed with Vera's sister Natasha, but Natasha has children of her own and no husband. This family came to our fund already in extreme distress - there is a catastrophic shortage of money for food and bills, a lot of resources are needed for the treatment of Vera.
We are asking for your help to provide the family with food until the end of the year, and we are also asking for your help to pay the children's transportation costs while they are studying.
