After a year, Hamza's development took a turn for the worse, and he stopped making eye contact, responding to his name, and interacting with others. His parents consulted a neurologist, and the boy was diagnosed with delayed psychomotor development, general speech underdevelopment of level 1, and autism spectrum disorder.
Currently, the boy attends various classes, which has helped him establish eye contact. However, Hamza still does not pay attention to other children, does not speak, and has limited understanding of spoken language. The boy is very selective about food, refuses to eat on his own, and does not have self-service skills.
The boy needs to undergo an intensive rehabilitation course that includes sessions with specialists in applied behavior analysis, sensory integration, adaptive physical education, and speech therapy.
