Ibrahim will be five years old soon. The parents noticed disturbing changes in their son's behavior at about the age of one and a half: the child stopped making eye contact, responding to his name, showed increased mobility and anxiety, experienced discomfort in crowded places and during loud conversations, covering his ears with his hands. Games became monotonous, stereotypical, and there was no interaction with peers. At the age of two, specialists diagnosed autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Further full-fledged development of Ibrahim requires an integrated approach: ABA-therapy classes, neuropsychologist consultations, remedial classes with a speech therapist and sensory integration sessions are necessary. All of these services are expensive, and it is difficult for parents in a difficult financial situation to provide their son with such support without outside help.
