Thanks to your support, Anya completed an adaptive physical education rehabilitation course after a complex operation.

The operation significantly reduced muscle spasticity, and the AFC course helped consolidate this result. Anya became easier and more confident in controlling her movements, and stiffness in her legs decreased. Her coordination has improved, she keeps her balance better and can stand longer without support. The first attempts at independent steps have appeared — so far with help, but this is already great progress!

Anya needs rehabilitation after surgery

Anya has been struggling with the consequences of cerebral palsy all her life. Despite the challenges, she actively participates in classes, enjoys singing, swimming, and socializing. Through her determination and numerous rehabilitation courses, Anya has learned to eat independently, drink from a cup, and speak her first words.

The most crucial stage is approaching: she has undergone a dorsal rhizotomy surgery, which significantly reduces muscle spasms and increases her chances of learning to walk. However, comprehensive rehabilitation is essential to ensure continued progress and prevent the return of spasms.
