Diana is an intensive care physician, and until a few years ago she was saving people's lives. But her last patient was herself. In the spring of 2019, after completing another training at medical school, she was rushing home to Mozdok, got distracted from the road and flew off a cliff in the mountains of Kabardino-Balkaria. The car rolled over four times. Diana determined for herself what was broken, got the first aid kit and administered first aid, called her colleagues, thought how lucky she was that no one else was in the car and lost consciousness. But she cannot continue - after two years, the injury is already considered old, and the MHI rehabilitation stops. And Diane has no money to pay for it. "I don't know who comes up with such norms - definitely not doctors. My opinion is that the patient should be brought to the end and treatment should not be discontinued until there is progress.
Diana retrained as a methodologist and went to work, but her salary and her son's pension suffice only for a life without excesses. Her husband left the family a month after what happened to Diana.
