The situation is complicated by the family's difficult financial situation. Galina is raising her only daughter, who needs constant care. Despite her own critical condition, the mother continues to care for her daughter.

The surgery, tests, medication, and subsequent rehabilitation require significant financial costs that the family cannot afford.
