Fundraising for training ophthalmologists in a unique course of treatment for retinopathy of prematurity

Retinopathy of prematurity is a disease that can deprive babies born prematurely of their sight. But there is hope! Modern treatments can stop the disease and preserve vision. Success depends on two things: a timely diagnosis and the care of an experienced, knowledgeable doctor. Unfortunately, such specialists are rare in Russia.

We are launching a fundraising campaign to train ophthalmologists from various regions in a unique surgical treatment course for retinopathy of prematurity. Our goal is to train as many specialists as possible so that babies in every corner of the country have the chance for clear vision.
