Ibrokhim is battling retinoblastoma, a malignant tumor of the retina. The tumor has now begun to grow again, and the only chance to overcome the disease is urgent treatment at the S.N. Fedorov Eye Microsurgery Clinic.
Ibrokhim is only three years old. He loves cars, fairy tales, and cartoons. It all started when he was just eight months old: his mother noticed a strange, cat-like glint in his right eye. The diagnosis, given in Uzbekistan, sounded like a death sentence: retinoblastoma. But doctors in Uzbekistan were unable to help the boy and advised him to seek experienced Russian doctors.
His grandparents immediately brought their grandson to Russia, but the tumor progressed rapidly. To save Ibrokhim's life, they had to remove his right eye and replace it with a prosthetic. However, the fight is not over – the disease must be stopped completely and his remaining left eye protected, otherwise the little boy faces total blindness.
Ibrahim's mother is raising her son alone and is visually impaired. She can't afford the expensive treatment.
Each of us can be a part of saving Ibrahim! Let's work together to help him get well soon! Your help is invaluable!
