Omar is 4 years and 9 months old. The boy was born at the 41st week of pregnancy, the Apgar score was 7/8 points. Up to the age of one and a half years, development proceeded according to age norms. However, after suffering from an illness, the mother noticed that her son stopped maintaining eye contact and responding to his name. After many examinations, the neurologist diagnosed "delayed speech development" (PPRD).
Since then, the mother has been actively involved in the treatment and rehabilitation of the child. There are some successes: the boy has mastered the pointing gesture, began to respond to the name, but speech is still missing. A mother brings up her only child on her own, so funds for full-fledged rehabilitation are limited. Support is needed to ensure the boy's continued recovery and maintain the progress he has made.
