Ruslan, who is only 12 years old, needs the help of qualified specialists along with his brother Ali. The boys are raised in the same family, but health problems prevent them from developing fully. Ruslan was diagnosed with atypical autism with moderate mental retardation (F84.11, F71). The child does not speak, there are manifestations of echolalia, although an elementary understanding of the surrounding reality is present at the household level.
Treatment began almost immediately after the birth of the boy. At four months old, his parents took their son to Rostov-on-Don, to the Institute of Obstetrics and Pediatrics, where they conducted the necessary research and prescribed therapy. Despite his good physical growth and early start of walking, there was no speech, and the boy did not respond to his name. At the age of three, the family went to St. Petersburg, to the Military Medical Academy named after S.M. Kirov*, where further examination and treatment yielded positive results.
After the course of therapy, Ruslan regularly worked with teachers and specialists, went to kindergarten with individual guidance from speech pathologists. The successes are noticeable, but the financial situation of the family is extremely difficult, and it becomes impossible to pay for expensive rehabilitation measures on their own.
Let's support Ruslan and give him a chance to overcome difficulties by completing a much-needed rehabilitation course!
