Maryam is only five years old. Her difficulties began early — the first alarming symptoms appeared when she was just over five months old. Then doctors diagnosed a rare disease — West's syndrome, accompanied by severe and frequent seizures, which sometimes occurred several times during the day. Numerous hospital visits led to the appointment of a course of hormone therapy and the antiepileptic drug Sabril, which the girl still takes regularly.
The consequences of the disease turned out to be serious: Maryam's development slowed down, there were speech delays and signs of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). To support the girl, her family sought specialized help from well—known medical centers in Moscow - the Result Center, InClinic, the Habilitation Center and the Clover Center. It was there that the specialists were able to achieve significant success in improving the child's condition.Today, Maryam needs long-term rehabilitation courses, which are necessary for further progress. Parents believe that it is this support that will be able to restore the child's ability to adapt to the world around them.
However, the complexity of the situation is compounded by the difficult financial situation of the family, which makes it impossible to pay for the course.
We can make Maryam's life a little easier and brighter. Let's join forces and give the girl a chance to overcome difficulties and become a full-fledged part of our world!
