Salahuddin is three years old. Due to the difficult birth, the boy suffered acute hypoxia, which caused a stroke on the very first day of life. The diagnoses of right-sided hemiparesis and ischemic damage to the central nervous system determined the beginning of a long road to recovery. Later, doctors diagnosed structural focal epilepsy, and at the age of two they added a delay in speech development.
Despite the serious problems, the parents regularly take the boy to rehabilitation courses, both public and private. Thanks to the perseverance and efforts of the family, despite the complexity of the situation, a positive dynamic is noticeable: the child has learned to sit, walk on his knees and even tries to stand up with support.
However, the financial situation of the family is extremely difficult, and the family is not able to pay for further important rehabilitation courses on their own. Therefore, support for every child is important right now, when every minute of classes brings the child closer to a full-fledged independent life.
