You can help us buy special developmental materials for blind children in kindergartens There are children with serious visual impairments in Kazakhstan. Due to the fact that 90 percent of information a person perceives through vision, such a child may eventually fall behind in development. Therefore it is very important that blind and visually impaired children begin to be trained by specialists using modern visually impaired equipment and special literature and materials. The project "We open the world" solves the problem of access to education for blind children and helps them "open" the world of knowledge, art and sports. After all, blind and visually impaired children have absolutely everything special - from slates and notebooks for writing and balls for playing to typhlo-printers, special software, audio descriptions of art objects in museums and much more. We are asking for your help in fundraising as part of the "Discovering the World" project. The first stage is to purchase developmental materials for specialists to work with blind and visually impaired children in 3 kindergartens across the country. The "We Open the World" project works in such areas as: 1) Opening a specialized class for blind children in a general education school. We open such classes in order not to tear children away from their families and due to the lack of specialized boarding schools in the city. 2) Training of specialists to work with blind children in order to improve their qualifications. 3) Sounding and creating tactile models of art objects in museums of the country for the blind and visually impaired. 4) Launching a goalball section in schools where blind and visually impaired children study as part of the project. 5) Organization of a summer camp for blind children studying in classes opened as part of the project, and much more.
