Iriska no longer feels pain. Thank you for your help!

Friends, thank you for supporting Iriska. This cat was found in winter, buried in a snowdrift at –28°C. Based on the nature of her injuries, veterinarians suspected she had once been a house cat and had fallen from a window. We saved her from the cold, but another challenge lay ahead. Iriska was diagnosed with leukemia — a condition that leaves the immune system permanently weakened. On this background, she developed severe inflammation in her mouth: it was painful for her to eat and even to yawn. Thanks to your help, we were able to pay for surgery to remove the diseased teeth. Now the inflammation is gone, and Iriska can eat without pain. She is slowly getting used to us, becoming calmer, and learning to trust people again. Recovery lies ahead, after which we will start looking for a new home for her — warm and safe. Thank you for helping Iriska through this stage.
