Alexey asked our foundation for help in a difficult life situation. He has two daughters from his first marriage, two—year-old Anya and four-year-old Toma. After the divorce, the children stayed with their mother in Biysk, and Alexey himself moved to Smolensk.
However, one day Alexey received a call from the guardianship authorities of the Altai Territory with disturbing news: his ex-wife could no longer take care of the babies for health reasons. The guardianship specialists warned: either Alexey urgently takes his daughters to himself, or they will be sent to an orphanage. I didn't have to think long, children should grow up in a family. But this was just the beginning of a long and difficult journey. Alexey has already formed a new family in Smolensk. He and his wife Maria had a child together — at the time of our acquaintance, the baby was only eight months old. Now Alexey had to bring his daughters to a new family, and Maria had to take on a significant part of the care of the little ones. It was a difficult step for a young family living in cramped conditions.
The social supervisor helped Alexey draw up an action plan: they thought over the logistics of how to take the children to Smolensk, bought the necessary things for the girls, and connected a psychologist for dad and his wife. Now there are three children in the family, they will have to rebuild their lives, improve their living conditions and find a new job. All this is necessary so that the children are not taken to an orphanage.
This fee will allow us to pay for a month of work as a social supervisor who simultaneously accompanies 12 families in crisis. In many ways, thanks to the work of a social supervisor, children in these families can live at home with their relatives, rather than in an orphanage.
