Mahmuddzhon has a congenital heart defect. He is well informed about his condition and reads numerous medical articles on the subject. His greatest aspiration is to become a physician and help children with similar conditions recover.
The diagnosis was confirmed when he was eighteen months old. Initially, doctors hoped his condition could be managed with medication, but his health continued to deteriorate. He fatigued rapidly, fell ill frequently and was unable to play or run like other children. At the age of six, he underwent a complex cardiac surgery in Moscow, which significantly improved his condition: seizures ceased and he became less prone to respiratory infections.
For nine years Mahmuddzhon has had a highly restricted lifestyle. Although he longed to participate in sports and physical activity, he was unable to do so as it was essential to protect his heart. In recent months, however, his condition has worsened again, with persistent chest pain, shortness of breath, and extreme fatigue even after brief walks.
Following a comprehensive evaluation at a cardiology center, physicians have recommended a second heart surgery. Currently, due to insufficient oxygen supply his organs and tissues are suffering, and the strain on his heart continues to increase each month. The cost of this surgery is far beyond the family’s means. His parents are raising three children and have pooled all their savings, yet this amount remains insufficient to cover the full cost of treatment.
Let us join together to support Mahmuddzhon. This surgery will give him the opportunity to live without pain, pursue his education, dream freely, and save the lives of other children himself after the treatment.
